I absolutely adored this. I sent it to all my housemates and we all loved it. I'm learning so much about myself and how to relate by being in my latest house share. Can't wait for your book!

Thank you Sarah (& Nicola!)

And yes! Absolutely that - I think you can almost learn MORE about yourself in house shares...I think by nature of living with a mixture of housemates, you are in turn confronted by lots of different personalities - and it gives us a chance to learn how we respond to those. I've been thinking recently about how living with so many different characters has also really helped me understand work colleagues too

Funny you say that about work colleagues... I organised a ''team retreat'' for my housemates a few months ago. We ran it like we would have run a work team activity, but all about living together better. You might like to read it given your research :-) https://sarahweiler.substack.com/p/i-ran-a-team-retreat-for-my-housemates?r=1qo5j

Funny, I had an experience of living in a shared space, which got me thinking about the combination of privacy/shared space would work for me. Anyways, here's what I would love to do. https://ideasbigandwild.substack.com/publish/posts/detail/136954873?referrer=%2Fpublish%2Fposts

Why write?

Do we see

the possible?

The impossible?

Billions of us

A billion seconds,

31 years of nights and days.

We may become aware

we may not.

We live and we die.
