Hello lovely subscribers,

I’ve been wanting to write about the following topic for the last six weeks but made the decision not to share publicly that I have become a cat parent and was finding it hard as I love to write about what is actually on my mind rather than forcing a topic. Anyway, I realised that as I had already told those of you in the Whatsapp group about my cats, I could still write the newsletter I wanted to but only send it to you instead of the whole list! Such a simple solution. D’oh.

So please indulge me as I try to put into words what it has meant to me to adopt two cats and what I think of the cat lady stereotype now I’m one step closer to embodying it. Or maybe I already am one, having said that. What’s the definition of a ‘crazy cat lady’ anyway? A single woman who lives alone with cats? Or do I have to have a certain amount of cats to qualify? Maybe two is too few.
