Hi Nicola,

I’m 38 and after a battle with a serious illness and a few lost years I finally have my life together. I’m ready for a relationship and to settle down with a lovely man. The problem? I don’t know how to find one!

Pre-pandemic I tried online dating for about a year, but it resulted in lots of rejection and ghosting but very few actual dates and even fewer successful ones. I don’t meet many new men IRL because work is female-dominated and my friend group is all couples.

Should I keep going with the soul sucking online dating, or is there another way to meet single men?
